NEW CHIEF
GROUND INSTRUCTOR
We have employed a new Chief Ground
Instructor (CGI) replacing Atle Aluwini who chose not to move together with
the company to Ålesund Airport Vigra. As our new CGI with effect from June 10th,
we welcome Ken Ove Wik. He is 32
years of age. His backround is from sales and marketing before he started
his education as a professional pilot. After his pilot education he has
worked as an instructor at Gardermoen Flyklubb and as ground instructor at
Luftfartsskolen/NAK.
THE FIRST TO
FINISH HIS PILOT EDUCATION
Lars Asmund Sletten is the first student
that has finished his professional pilot education at NEAR and NAIA. He started
his education in July 2001. In June 24th 2003, he left NEAR’s
facilities at Ålesund Airport Vigra and headed for Røros. There he will end
his education by taking an examination – skill test - for Luftfartstilsynet
(NCAA) later this week. We all wish him good luck. Here he is photographed
in front of a BE200 at Ålesund Lufthavn Vigra, anxious to start his career
as a pilot.

ALLOWED FOR ENTRIES
Please note that the time allowed for entries
regarding PHASE 5 / Repetition-school tests
Starting in week 31, and with exam starting Sept 1st
2003 now is postponed to Monday 07.07.03
at 14:00 hrs Norwegian time. Please enroll within the
time limit to TCO Elisabet Halvorsen.
The
next PHASE 5 / Repetition-school tests will be as scheduled
below.
